Clifford Chance advised BNP Paribas Real Estate, Düsseldorf, on the acquisition of German Property Management company Imoplan, a subsidiary of Groß & Partner Grundstückentwicklungsgesellschaft. The transaction is subject to the approval from the antitrust authorities.
With the acquisition of Imoplan, BNP Paribas Real Estate enhances its property management activities in Germany. As of 1 May 2013, the two companies will offer national and international investors based in Germany a joint workforce of 250 people and will manage around 7 million sq. m of offices and retail areas.
BNP Paribas Real Estate, a subsidiary of French financial services provider BNP Paribas, operates in 15 countries across the world and through cooperations in a further 21 countries. The company has 10 branches in Germany.
Imoplan is headquartered in Frankfurt/Eschborn and manages office, commercial and residential real estate with a total volume of more than 2 million sqm all over Germany.
