Clifford Chance advises banks on financing the Skogberget wind farm project in Sweden

Clifford Chance advised KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH and SEB AG on the financing of the Skogberget wind farm project in northern Sweden.

The Skogberget wind farm will comprise 36 Enercon E-92 turbines with a total generating capacity of 84.6 MW. It will form part of the Markbygden wind farm project which by 2021, is envisaged to comprise 1,101 turbines with a total output of 4 GW, a capacity which meets around 8% of Sweden's entire energy requirements. The project is a joint venture between the German turbine manufacturer Enercon and the Swedish developer Svevind. The total loan amount is approx. EUR 84,5 million.
