Real estate investor BNP Paribas Real Investment Management (REIM) France has acquired the "unIQus" office building, located in Bad Homburg for the SCPI Opus Real fund. Clifford Chance has advised BNP Paribas REIM on this transaction.
Vendor OFB Projektentwicklung had completed the unIQus property, offering 7,700 square metres on a plot of 5,300 square metres, at the end of 2017. The building, which will be supplemented by a second construction phase, is fully let to Fresenius, Syzygy, Barmer and Monotype. The German BNP Paribas REIM subsidiary will take over the asset management of the building.
The Clifford Chance team advising BNP Paribas REIM comprised partner Gerold Jaeger (Düsseldorf) and counsel Martin Bärlösius (Munich, both Real Estate) as well as counsel Dominik Thomer and associate Philipp Weiten (both Tax, Düsseldorf).
