On 5th December, Carrefour and Fnac Darty announced the conclusion of a partnership for cooperation in purchasing domestic appliances and consumer electronics in France.

The agreement will be disclosed to the French Competition Authority.

The Paris Clifford Chance team assisting Carrefour on the deal is composed of David Tayar, partner, and associates Emily Xueref-Poviac and Alice Guérin for the antitrust aspects of the transaction, Marianne Pezant, partner, on the corporate side, and Dessislava Savova, partner, and Alexander Kennedy, counsel, on commercial and contract law issues.
