Clifford Chance has advised  Electra Private Equity PLC ("Electra"), on the proposed merger of its portfolio companies Park Resorts, South Lakeland Parks and Southview and Manor Park with Parkdean Holidays.

The transaction will give the New Company an enterprise value of £960 million.

The cross-practice team advising the New Company, Park Resorts Group and Electra was led by Partners David Pearson and  Simon Tinkler. The team at Clifford Chance included partner Melissa Fogarty, supported by senior associates Martin Kolmar and  Grace Yuen and lawyer Jiaying Zhang advising on corporate matters; partner John Dawson, with support from senior associate Christopher Wall and lawyer Vevake Sur advising on finance; and partner Alex Nourry with support from lawyer Elizabeth Sinclair advising on antitrust.

The New Company will, as a result of the merger, act as a nationwide operator with 73 sites.
