Clifford Chance advised Geneba Properties N.V. on the acquisition of three industrial and logistic properties leased to automotive suppliers and a logistics provider.
The portfolio consists of two properties located in Saxony and another property in Bavaria comprising a total area of around 39,000 square metres. The industrial property in Leipzig is leased to the automotive supplier Dräxlmaier, at the property in Chemnitz, Rhenus Logistics operates a logistics centre close to VW AG's engine production site and, at the Amberg property, Grammer AG manufactures car seats. The seller was the property developer MetaWerk AG, based in Berlin.
Geneba Properties N.V. is a European real estate company based in Amsterdam (Netherlands). The company owns and manages a property portfolio worth almost EUR 800 million, consisting of industrial properties located in strategically important regions and leased on a long-term basis.
