Clifford Chance has advised IVG Immobilien AG on the refinancing by Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Limited of the office building complex "THE SQUAIRE" which is located at Frankfurt airport. The loan has a total volume of approximately EUR 470 million and  a tenor of five years.

"THE SQUAIRE" is situated directly on top of the long distance railway station at Frankfurt Airport. The property with a total area of approximately 146,000 sqm contains offices, two hotels, a business and conference centre, restaurants, shops and various other facilities. Anchor tenants are KPMG, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Hilton Worldwide Group.

The strategic core business of IVG Immobilien AG is the acquisition, management and sale of office premises in Germany. Owning a property portfolio worth EUR 3,5 billion, IVG Immobilien AG is one of the largest owners of office buildings in Germany.
