Clifford Chance has advised KKCG, an investment group, on the acquisition of Czech and Slovak IT companies from the Cleverlance Enterprise Solutions and AEC groups, which are part of the Cleverlance Group. KKCG will acquire a majority stake in the IT companies.
It is the first major ICT transaction on the Czech market this year. The acquisition of Cleverlance Enterprise Solutions and AEC will give rise to an ICT holding under the wing of KKCG, comprising specialised companies that will jointly be able to offer clients a comprehensive portfolio of ICT services and products. The ICT holding will have a consolidated turnover exceeding CZK 5 billion and EBITDA over CZK 300 million and will employ more than 1,800 people. The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the Czech Competition Office.
The Clifford Chance team advising on the matter was led by Michal Jašek, counsel with many years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and in the technology sector, and supported by the Corporate Practice team, mainly by Tomáš Procházka and Jakub Veselý.
In 2017, the same team of lawyers from Clifford Chance advised KKCG on the acquisition of AUTOCONT Group.
