Clifford Chance has advised the snack producer Mondelez International on the sale of its existing German headquarters in Bremen. The property was bought by Hanseatische Projektentwicklung (HPE) and Justus Grosse.

The 14,000 m2 property is located in the Alte Neustadt area of Bremen. HPE and Justus Grosse will split the property evenly between them. Justus Grosse is planning a residential development on the south-eastern part of the property, while HPE will be modernising the office space located along Langemarckstrasse. Construction activity is scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2019. Mondelez International is planning to move into a new building constructed by Zech group on Konsul-Smidt-Strasse.
