Clifford Chance advised investment company Prolimity Capital Partners on the acquisition of the WOCHENBLATT of the Lake Constance and Upper Swabia region in the context of insolvency proceedings. The WOCHENBLATT with its more than 500,000 readers per week has been published for 45 years. The publication was due to be liquidated in November 2017 based on a decision taken by the former owner, and became insolvent as a result.

Prolimity Capital Partners took over the business operations of WOCHENBLATT Verlag Ravensburg on 22 January 2018 and will continue to manage the company. In the future, the company will operate as WOCHENBLATT GmbH, with its headquarters in Ravensburg.

Prolimity Capital Partners is a consultancy and investment firm specialising in the restructuring and transformation of SMEs in the DACH region. It focuses in particular on companies in special situations (e.g. group spin-offs, post-merger integrations, turnarounds, insolvencies).
