Clifford Chance has advised Korean Vestas Investment Management on the acquisition of the new Allianz campus in Berlin. Corpus Sireo, a Swiss Life company, is the seller of the office building complex.
The new Allianz headquarters is currently being developed on two construction sites which encompass a total area of 27,000 square metres and are situated between Rudower Chaussee and Hans-Schmidt-Straße in close proximity to the S-Bahnhof Adlershof. The office complex comprises three buildings with a lettable area of approximately 60,000 square metres and is to be ready for occupancy in spring 2019.
The Korean investment manager Vestas Investment Management, headquartered in Seoul, was founded in 2010 and currently manages assets worth around USD 2.4 billion.
