Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners raise DKK 7.4 billion (EUR 1 billion) in the first closing of Copenhagen Infrastructure III K/S marking record fund raising levels

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners with senior partners Jakob Baruël Poulsen, Rune Bro Róin, Torsten Lodberg Smed, Christian T. Skakkebæk and Christina Grumstrup Sørensen, have announced the first closing of  the new infrastructure fund, Copenhagen Infrastructure III K/S.

Six institutional investos, PensionDanmark, Lægernes Pensionskasse, Danske Civilingeniørers Pensionskasse, Juristernes og Økonomernes Pensionskasse, Kommunal Landspensjonskasse Gjensidig Forsikringsselskap and T&W Holding ApS, have committed a total of DKK 7.4 billion to Copenhagen Infrastructure III K/S. The fund raising will continue.

Copenhagen Infrastructure III K/S will provide exposure to energy-related assets and activities with infrastructure characteristics, primarily in Northwestern Europe and North America and primarily with regulated and/or contracted cash flows, e.g. assets and activities generating revenue streams fully or partly based on regulated regimes or on long-term contracted income. On the basis of a buy-and-hold strategy, investments will be made in infrastructure assets, such as offshore and onshore wind, solar power generation assets, thermal generation assets etc.
