International law firm DAC Beachcroft has advised European mobile gaming company 24/7 Gaming Group Holdings plc (24/7) on its successful admission to AIM to yesterday (31st July).
The deal values 24/7, a leading provider of services, apps and operating systems to the mobile gaming industry for smartphones and tablets, at more than £65m.
Corporate law specialist Clive Garston led the team for DAC Beachcroft, which included solicitor Philip Walton and trainee solicitor Sophia Collins. DAC Beachcroft secured the mandate via a client recommendation for its previous work in the sector but this marks its first instruction for 24/7.
Commenting on the latest deal, Clive Garston said: "I am delighted to have acted for an ambitious and successful company like 24/7 and to have assisted with its admission to AIM, which is further evidence of the continuing growth in the international mobile gaming sector.”
He added: “This deal underlines DAC Beachcroft’s commitment to the market and is also further testament to the renewed health of AIM, which has endured some adverse publicity but, pleasingly, is well on the way to a full recovery.”
24/7 Chief Executive, Rogier Smit, said: “Clive Garston and the DAC Beachcroft team provided a first-rate service and were a pleasure to work with. Their experience of this market combined with considerable commercial and legal know-how helped to get the deal done smoothly and efficiently."
