Dassault Systèmes acquires CST-Group

Baker & McKenzie advised Dassault Systèmes on the acquisition of all shares in CST - Computer Simulation Technology AG, headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany. Dassault Systèmes acquires CST for a purchase price of approximately 220 million euros. Completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including merger clearance. Closing is expected for Q4 2016.

CST is a leading company in the area of electromagnetic and electronics simulation. With the acquisition of CST, Dassault Systèmes will complement its industry solution experiences for realistic multiphysics simulation on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

CST’s software is used by designers and engineers at more than 2,000 companies in the high-tech, transportation and mobility, aerospace and defense, and energy industries.
