Telenor-owned Datamatrix has, through its subsidiary Daxcom, entered into an agreement regarding purchase of Network Services. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close during the spring of 2017.

Datamatrix was established in 1982 and is one of the leading specialists in IT infrastructure and operations in Norway. Swedish Network Services is a specialist company within computer and telecommunication, that offers customised solutions and "managed services" in networks and IT security as well as certified consulting services. The acquisition of Network Services allows Datamatrix to strengthen its position on the Swedish market within network, security and consulting services.
