De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés advised DHX-MEDIA, the leading Canadian producer and international distributor of Kids’ programs (“Inspector Gadget,” “Teletubbies,” “Degrassi, Next Generation,”…), and provider of TV satellite channels (including the Family Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior) with exercising of the right of pre-emption following the acquisition of 20 co-produced Franco-Canadian animated series of the Moonscoop catalogue.

The right of pre-emption was exercised while the Moonscoop companies were under bankruptcy proceeding and carrying out a divestiture approved by the Paris Commercial Court in January 2014.

The acquired series will be directly exploited by DHX-MEDIA throughout its various media.
