Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is advising Forethought Financial Group, Inc. (“Forethought”) in its sale to Global Atlantic Financial Group (“Global Atlantic”). Upon close, Forethought will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Global Atlantic, though the company will continue to operate its life insurance and annuity businesses under the Forethought name.
