Dentons Corporate partner Richard Macklin, who led on the deal with partner Candice Chapman, said, "We are delighted to have assisted Deutsche Post DHL Group on the sale of this global business. Advent has a strong track record of carving out businesses from large corporations and is very well placed to support Williams Lea Tag as it transitions to a successful independent company. The sale allows Deutsche Post DHL Group to focus on its core logistics service offering, while continuing a close business relationship with Williams Lea Tag."
In addition to Richard Macklin and Candice Chapman, the core Dentons team advising on the deal included senior associates Baljeet Panesar and Sarah Lima, and associates Wei Wu, Jessica Abrahamson-Flynn and Alison Wu. Several Dentons offices across the globe also provided assistance.
