Dentons’ Berlin office has advised Johanniter GmbH on the purchase of additional company shares in the Evangelische Kliniken Johanniter- und Waldkrankenhaus Bonn gGmbH (EKB), which operates two large hospitals in the Bonn area in Germany.

With this purchase, Johanniter GmbH will have increased its share of EKB from 76 to 100 percent. In 2012, Johanniter GmbH had already increased its stake in EKB from 51 to 76 percent.

Johanniter GmbH is a long-standing client of Dentons Germany. Just recently, Dentons had advised Johanniter GmbH on the sale of shares Johanniter-Krankenhaus im Fläming Belzig GmbH to the Klinikum Ernst von Bergmann gGmbH which operates the largest hospital in Potsdam.
