Dentons advises pritidenta on €2 million bond financing by Norgine Ventures

Dentons has advised Germany-based dental healthcare technology company pritidenta GmbH on a €2 million bond financing by Norgine Ventures. The financing will help pritidenta to accelerate further product development and global commercial expansion.

Pritidenta develops and sells innovative materials for prosthetic dental products, including zirconia blank discs for use in crowns and bridges as well as in full contour restorations such as veneers, inlays and onlays. It is a portfolio company of TVM Capital Life Science, a group of independent investment advisors and fund managers for venture capital funds investing in innovative biotech, pharmaceutical, and medtech companies, with teams based in Munich and Montreal.

Norgine, headquartered in the Netherlands, is a leading European specialist pharmaceutical company with a direct commercial presence in all major European markets. The company employs over 1,000 people across its commercial, development and manufacturing operations and manages all aspects of product development, production, marketing, sale and supply. Norgine Ventures was established to support innovative healthcare companies through the provision of debt-like financing in Europe and the US.

Dentons partner Thomas Strassner, counsel Christopher Mayston and associate Danny Major advised pritidenta on this transaction. The Munich-based team regularly advises companies in the biotech and healthcare sector in private equity and venture capital transactions. Most recently, the team advised Immunic AG on the completion of its series A financing round with an overall investment of €31.7 million, making it one of the largest series A financing rounds in the European biotech sector.
