Germany’s largest security company acquires a security technology provider from Celle

Dentons advised the security company Securitas Deutschland on the acquisition of the Draht+Schutz Group. With the purchase Securitas will strengthen its expertise in the field of electronic security solutions. The transaction is subject to merger clearance.

With an annual turnover of €669 million in 2014 and nearly 20,000 employees, Securitas Deutschland is the largest company in Germany in the security sector. Securitas is part of the Stockholm-based Securitas AB group. The acquired company Draht+Schutz, domiciled in Celle, offers a full range of consultation, installation and after-sales services related to intrusion detection, fire detection video surveillance, access control and perimeter protection systems. Draht+Schutz has a national coverage in Germany.
