Dentons Law Firm Advises the Buyers of Mokotow Nova Office Building

20 Sep 2013

The Warsaw-based Dentons real estate team was involved in an advisory capacity in the purchase of Mokotów Nova, an A-class office building in Warsaw. The office building was sold by Ghelamco to the CCP III (Curzon Capital Partners III) investment fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners.

This is already the second deal to be clinched this year with Ghelamco as seller and Dentons advising the purchasing party - the first being the purchase of the Senator building by Union Investment.

Mokotow Nova is one of the largest and most modern office buildings in Warsaw's business district. It comprises a total of 43,750 square meters of A-class office space, 95% of which is already leased out.

“Poland is the market of preference for our fund and we are very pleased to have purchased this facility, located in one of the most prestigious and biggest business districts in Europe, outside the city center. Thanks to this transaction, almost all the resources available to Curzon Capital Partners III have now been invested,” said Daniel Harris, Managing Director of Tristan Capital Partners.

The Dentons lawyers handling the transaction were Pawel Debowski, Dentons partner and head of this law firm’s Central Europe real estate team, and Maciej Ryniewicz, also a partner with the Warsaw-based real estate team of Dentons.

“This is a major transaction in the Polish market and we are delighted to have been involved in yet another large and challenging project,” commented Maciej Ryniewicz.
