Casablanca—Dentons Morocco has advised Travaux Généraux de Construction de Casablanca (TGCC) on the construction project of the Bank of Africa Tower project, the tallest high-rise tower in Africa to be built in Rabat (Morocco), in particular on the partnership between TGCC, BESIX, SIXCO and China Railway Construction Corporation International (CRCCI).
The Bank of Africa Tower is to be built in Morocco’s capital, Rabat, and will stand at 250 meters high, with 55 floors, covering an area of 86,000 sq. m. It will comprise a hotel, a residential area and office components. The tower construction began in early November 2018 and is estimated to be completed in 2022.
TGCC operates in the industrial, civil engineering and construction sectors. It has been active in the complete range of construction sectors including housing, hotels, commercial, industrial and administrative for more than 25 years. The Group employs 8,500 employees in Morocco and sub-Saharan Africa.
