DLA Piper advises on the acquisition of BMW logistics centre

DLA Piper has advised Tilad, a multi-family office based in the Gulf region, on the acquisition of the BMW Logistics Centre in Niederaichbach near Munich.

The acquisition was made by way of an asset deal, and was sold by IM Properties plc, one of the UK's largest property companies.

Tilad led a consortium of investors from the Middle East. The BMW Logistics Centre, with about 98,540 square metres area in total, was the first acquisition in Germany made by the consortium.

The DLA Piper team led by Fabian Mühlen included Fabian Hinrichs (both Real Estate), Torsten Pokropp (Finance & Projects), Falko Tappen (Tax) and Andrea München (Restructuring).
