DLA Piper has advised Catella Real Estate AG on the acquisition of a fourth property for its special fund "IWS II – Wirtschaftsregion Süddeutschland" (IWS II): a retail park of approximately 8,500 square metres in Nuremberg, currently 100% let on a long-term basis. The tenants include Aldi, dm, McFit and catering company Asia Palace, amongst others. The seller is a property-holding company of the P&P Group from Fürth.
The IWS II special fund focuses solely on southern Germany and now manages four properties in Augsburg, Nuremberg and Stuttgart, with real estate assets of approximately 56 million euros and an occupancy rate in the portfolio of almost 100%. Further purchase opportunities are currently being examined.
