DLA Piper has advised Doctena S.A. on the strategic acquisition of all shares of Doxter GmbH, a booking platform for medical treatment for an undisclosed amount. In addition to the founders of Doxter GmbH, the sellers were the former shareholders EuroServe Media GmbH (venture capital arm of the Müller Medien Group) and Chrysos GmbH.
Founded in 2012, Doctena S.A. is a next generation medical booking platform dedicated to helping patients find practitioners and organize an appointment with them. Doctena is currently available in Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands, Switzerland, and now Germany.

Patrick Kersten, founder and CEO of Doctena, said: "We continue to be impressed by DLA Piper's professionalism and know-how. It is important for Doctena, whose ambition it is to build a European Champion through organic growth as well as through M&A in different EU countries, to work with a legal advisor such as DLA Piper, who can support our efforts in every market where we are or want to be active."
