DLA Piper has advised EEPro GmbH on the sale of a project company belonging to T.S. Rinnovabili S.r.l., a subsidiary of Solarpark Villalba GmbH & Co. KG, to EOS SICAV PLC Sustainable Investment Fund. The acquisition took place with effect from 31 December 2014 for an undisclosed amount.

Since 2007, EEPro GmbH has been operating as an international project developer and general contractor in the field of ground-mounted photovoltaic facilities. Located in Sicily, Solarpark Villalba was the first Italian photovoltaic project for the international company, which is headquartered in the southern German town of Simbach near Landau. Its total output amounts to 5 MWp. DLA Piper supported EEPro GmbH throughout the sales process.
