DLA Piper advised the shareholders of E.I.S. Holding GmbH on the sale of the aviation business to the private equity investor EQT.

E.I.S. Aircraft Group develops and manufactures aircraft cabin interior products and provides line and base maintenance for aeroplanes as well as flight simulation and training services to international customers.

E.I.S. Aircraft Group consists of E.I.S. Holding GmbH, E.I.S. Aircraft GmbH and Deva Kunststofftechnik GmbH. E.I.S. Aircraft Group is a well-established product and service provider focused on high growth segments of the aerospace market with more than 60 years of innovation, design and service experience.

The group’s three main businesses - aviation products, aviation services and simulation and training - together offer a comprehensive scope of capabilities throughout the whole value chain, ranging from design and engineering through production to aftermarket support.
