DLA Piper has advised Imagine Enterprises Limited on its acquisition of Holiday Planet Pty Ltd, one of Australia's leading travel companies.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom, with offices in Cape Town, Dubai and Brisbane, the company's Imagine Cruising Group is an award-winning provider of bespoke cruise and stay holidays. It is 51 per cent owned by dnata, a division of the Emirates Group.

The acquisition of Holiday Planet follows the expansion of Imagine Cruising Group into the Australian market 12 months ago.

The DLA Piper team was led by Melbourne Corporate partner Gerry Bean, with assistance from senior associate Dylan Burke and graduate Tara Alexander.
