DLA Piper advises lenders on syndicated facility for SG Fleet Group AU$200 million acquisition

02 Dec 2015

DLA Piper has advised Westpac and St. George Bank on a syndicated facility for the SG Fleet Group in relation to SG Fleet's circa AU$200 million acquisition of salary packager NLC (announced to the ASX on 17 November 2015 and due to close before the end of 2015).

SG Fleet is one of Australia’s largest providers of vehicle leasing and fleet management services to corporate and government customers. NLC is a privately held Australian company with a national presence as a specialist manager and provider of novated leases, consumer vehicle finance and vehicle sourcing services.

The DLA Piper team on the syndicated facility was led by banking and finance partner Hugo Thistlewood, with assistance from senior associates Gary Segal and Sarsha Housham and lawyer Phillipa Montgomery.

Hugo Thistlewood said: "We are delighted to have advised the lenders on the financing of this AU$200 million acquisition by SG Fleet, as it expands its fleet leasing and salary packaging business."
