DLA Piper advises The Meridian Group in acquisition of Tysons Metro Center

DLA Piper represented The Meridian Group, a prominent real estate investment and development firm, in the acquisition and financing of Tysons Metro Center, a four-building Class A office complex in Tysons, Virginia.

The 763,000-square-foot project is adjacent to two other major projects owned by Meridian, Greensboro Station and The Boro. Tysons Metro Center recently underwent nearly US$27 million in capital improvements and features rooftop decks and a tenants-only sports court, among other amenities. Among the major tenants at Tysons Metro Center are Alarm.com and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Fred Klein, Keith Greenberg (both of Washington, DC), Primo Fontana (Boston), and Christina Houston (Wilmington) were the primary DLA Piper attorneys on the transaction.

DLA Piper also represented Meridian on the recent acquisition and financing of 1901 L Street NW, located in Washington, DC's central business district.
