DLA Piper has advised PFW Aerospace GmbH, an Airbus subsidiary, on the sale of its French subsidiary Spécitubes to Leggett & Platt (NYSE: Leggett & Platt Inc.).

Founded in 1915, Spécitubes is the European leader in the manufacturing, bending and supplying of titanium, nickel alloys and stainless steel tubes for all uses in industrial and aerospace applications. Spécitubes has two production sites located in Samer and in Nanterre.

PFW Aerospace GmbH was advised by DLA Piper, with Xavier Norlain, partner and Head of the Corporate group in Paris leading the team with support from Matthieu Lampel, Associate.

DLA Piper worked alongside Daniel von Wild and Philipp Visotschnig, respectively General Counsel and Head of Business Transformation at PFW Aerospace GmbH, and Clarisse Derre and Mark Landmann, respectively Legal Counsel and Vice-President at the M&A Department at EADS France.
