DLA Piper has advised the US Private Equity Fund Public Pension Capital (PPC Enterprises) and its portfolio company group Hospitality Tech Holding on the acquisition of all shares in Serenata IntraWare GmbH, a global provider of e-marketing and tailor-made customer relationship management (CRM) solutions for the hotel industry. Founded in 1996, Serenata has developed into a leading service provider in hospitality technology, serving customers all around the world.
Hospitality Tech Holdings LLC operates as the acquisition vehicle for PPC Enterprises, a middle-market private equity fund that invests in a select group of industries, including business and industrial services. Founded as a unique partnership between leading US state pension funds and other long-term investors, PPC Enterprises is one of the first of its kind to invest on the German market. The acquisition of Serenata IntraWare GmbH is PPC's first transaction in Germany and the start of further acquisitions in the DACH region.
