DLA Piper has advised Finnish private equity firm Sentica Partners on the acquisition of a majority stake in demolition and recycling businesses Purkupiha and Dammega. Sentica’s investment will help the group to establish itself as a leading business in its sector.

Purkupiha specialises in the demolition of buildings and factories. The company’s core business also includes recycling and re-use of building materials. Dammega specialises in the removal of asbestos and other hazardous substances. In addition, the company conducts demanding renovation demolition work.

Sentica Partners is an independent private equity company focusing on investing in and developing small and mid-sized companies with a Finnish origin.
