DLA Piper represented Sprout Social Inc., a company specializing in social-media management software, in connection with US$42 million in funds raised from Goldman Sachs' Merchant Banking Division and New Enterprise Associates. The Series C round brings total funding for the company to US$60 million.

The funds will be used to help Sprout continue expanding its products and customer base, as brands increasingly rely on social media to attract customers. Sprout serves more than 3,000 agencies, 8,000 small businesses and 5,000 mid-market and enterprise customers around the world.
