DLA Piper has advised Tilad, a multi-family office based in the Gulf region, on the acquisition of an office complex in Berlin from Société Générale Immobel S.A. The acquisition took place as part of a share deal, which was financed by ING Real Estate Finance Germany.

Built in 1995, the property Atrium Charlottenburg is situated in Berlin’s district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It has a site area of 10,037 square metres and a total rentable floor space of 40,882 square metres. The main tenants are Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS and the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).
