DLA Piper advises The Toro Company on its acquisition of Regnerbau Calw GmbH

DLA Piper has advised US-based The Toro Company on its acquisition of all shares in Regnerbau Calw GmbH, including its Polish subsidiary Perrot Polska SP.z.o.o. The Closing of the transaction is still subject to customary merger clearance requirements.

Regnerbau Calw GmbH, a privately owned company, develops, produces and distributes sprinklers, mobile irrigation solutions, large area rain gun sprinklers and irrigation accessories worldwide.

The Toro Company from Bloomington, Minnesota, an NYSE listed company, is one the world´s leading global providers of innovative turf, landscape, rental and construction equipment, as well as irrigation and outdoor lighting solutions. Through the acquisition of Regnerbau Calw GmbH, The Toro Company aims to expand its presence in the professional, water and global markets, and provide an expanded offering of professional irrigation solutions to better serve their customers.

DLA Piper advised on the cross-border due diligence and successfully supported the negotiations and the conclusion of the purchase agreements.
