DLA Piper advises Waterlogic on another acquisition

27 May 2015

DLA Piper has advised Waterlogic Australia Holdings Pty Limited on its purchase of Unlimited Water Pty Ltd. Waterlogic Australia is a subsidiary of the Waterlogic Group, which is a leading provider of point-of-use (POU) water purification systems and dispensers throughout offices, schools, hospitals, restaurants and homes across Europe, the United Kingdom, North America and Australia.

The acquisition of Unlimited Water increases Waterlogic's market share in the POU market in Australia and has consolidated Waterlogic's position as one of the market leaders in the industry.

Unlimited Water was established in 1997 and has grown to become a significant player in the manufacture and servicing of filtered water dispensers. The acquisition of Unlimited Water follows Waterlogic's most recent acquisition of the Australian business of Just Water International Limited earlier this year, and the acquisition of the Cool Clear Water Group Ltd in 2013, for both of which DLA Piper also advised Waterlogic.

The acquisition by Waterlogic of Unlimited Water was led by DLA Piper partner Dr. Gerry Bean, with senior associate Dylan Burke and solicitors Asher Seifman and Nick Kefalianos.
