DLA Piper represents UBIC in US public offering

DLA Piper represented UBIC, Inc., a Tokyo-based provider of Asian language e-discovery services, in its US public offering, valued at approximately US$9 million.

Under the terms of the deal, UBIC offered 1,100,000 American Depositary Shares (ADSs), with each five ADSs representing one share of the company's common stock. The transaction closed on May 21, 2013.

The DLA Piper team representing UBIC was led by Michael Turner, Jack Kantrowitz and Koji Ishikawa, and included Lance Miller, Masahiko Ishida, Jonathan Brooks, Keitaro Uzawa, Ryo Takizawa, Makiko Takewaki and Masato Ito in Tokyo; David Turner in New York; and Nadea Kolege in Boston.
