DNV GL has acquired all the shares in Gothia Power, from a shareholder group consisting of founders and employees of the company.
Gothia Power provides advanced analysis and measurements for power production, power transmission and power consumption. Gothia Power is mainly active in Sweden, the Nordics and the Baltics and its customers include government agencies, manufacturing industries and actors active within infrastructure.
DNV GL operates in more than 100 countries and has 15,000 employees. DNV GL provides classification and technical assurance along with software and independent expert advisory services to the maritime, oil, gas and energy industries as well as certification services to customers across a wide range of industries.
DNV GL was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team primarily included Emma Olnäs Fors and Emelie Thor (M&A), Johannes Eklund (employment) and Pernilla Book (intellectual property).
