DWF advises Zeus on £5million placing

16 Jun 2017

DWF has advised Zeus Capital as it acted as sole bookrunner, nominated adviser and broker in the successful £5 million fundraising for leading virtual reality content creation business EVR Holdings plc.

EVR placed 62.5 million placing shares at a price of 8 pence at the start of June, which raised gross proceeds of £5 million. The funds will be used to develop the company's existing content library as well as extend its capability in live music capture and digital content creation. EVR is also looking to expand its global reach and will be investing in its marketing resources to enter new markets.

Lisa Stavropoulos, DWF Corporate Director, led the team advising Zeus Capital, with support from Corporate solicitor Francesca Kinsella.

Lisa Stavropoulos, DWF Corporate Director, said: "We are delighted to have advised Zeus Capital on this transaction. Virtual reality is a fast-emerging trend in the tech sphere, which is seeing heavy investment from key players in the market with companies operating in the VR space already evolving as the tech becomes more intelligent. This deal highlights DWF's core sector capability, leveraging key insights from our technology sector expertise in order to fully immerse ourselves in not just our client's business but in their client's business, delivering effective, efficient support.
