Law firm Eversheds has advised Holidaybreak on the sale of Explore Worldwide and its group of companies. Holidaybreak Limited, a subsidiary of international luxury travel operator Cox and Kings, has sold its division of adventure travel companies to Hotelplan (U.K. Group) Limited, the parent company of specialist tour operators including Inghams and Inntravel.
The Eversheds team included Nicola Brookes (Senior Associate, Corporate) and Elizabeth Tindall (Associate, Corporate) assisted by Helen Yeung (Associate, Corporate) and David Smith (Principal Associate, Tax).
Daniel Hall, client partner for Holidaybreak, commented:
“It is a pleasure to have advised Holidaybreak on this deal, coming closely after the successful acquisition of LateRooms on which the same Eversheds’ team also advised. This transaction builds on the strong relationship between the group and Eversheds and we look forward to working together again in the future.”
Dominique Cullen, Company Secretary & Legal Counsel for Holidaybreak, commented:
“This deal was a great team effort and we are grateful to Eversheds for their guidance throughout the duration of the deal, which allowed for a smooth and coordinated process.”
