In 2017, YIT reorganized its four Russian JSC subsidiaries, implementing a new more transparent and effective corporate structure. Eversheds Sutherland assisted in all legal matters pertaining to registration from the preliminary stages, registration of share issues, planning and evaluating possible risks, to the final registrations. The reorganization was completed in 6 months and included several complex legal instruments, which Eversheds Sutherland was among the first to implement in the Russian market, including simultaneous implementation of several types of reorganizations to speed up the whole process and ensure the companies’ seamless operation.
