Firm Advises J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Numis on a £340m Rights Issue and £265m Acquisition by Kier Group plc

Simmons & Simmons has advised J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Numis as Joint Financial Advisers, Joint Sponsors, Joint Bookrunners and Joint Brokers in connection with the £340 million rights issue and Class 1 acquisition by Kier Group plc (“Kier”).

Kier, a leading property, residential, construction and services group, has acquired the entire issued share capital of MRBL Limited, an international infrastructure services and business services group. The total consideration for the acquisition was £265m in cash, which was financed by the £340m rights issue.

Simmons & Simmons previously advised J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Numis on the £221m acquisition of May Gurney Integrated Services plc by Kier in 2013 (click here to read more).
