Göteborg Energi AB and Skövde Municipality have entered into an agreement with Torran Gas Holding AB regarding the transfer of Skövde Biogas AB to Torran Gas Holding AB. The transfer is expected to be completed in March 2017.

Skövde Biogas produces and sells biogas and biofertiliser. The company is currently owned by Göteborg Energi (51%) and Skövde Municipality (49%).

Göteborg Energi is the leading energy company in western Sweden. The transfer takes place as part of Göteborg Energi's decision on a strategic focus on the core business and the local market in Gothenburg.
