Simpson Thacher represented Groupe Fnac S.A. in connection with its offering of €650 million aggregate principal amount of 3.25% Senior Notes due 2023. The proceeds of the offering were used to refinance outstanding indebtedness under a bridge facility entered into to finance Fnac’s acquisition of the share capital of Darty plc.

Fnac is a leading French retail distributor of entertainment and leisure products (including consumer electronics) and operates over 200 stores across several countries. Darty is a leading multi-channel service-led electrical retailer operating over 400 stores in three European countries.
