GSK Stockmann advised the owners and founders of SCiLS GmbH, Bremen, on the sale of their shares to Bruker Daltonik GmbH.
SCiLS, founded as a spin-off of the University of Bremen and winner of the 2015 Founders Prize, develops innovative software tools such as statistical analysis software, sophisticated visualization systems and secure cloud-based services for the collaborative interpretation of complex data sets for the imaging industry mass spectrometry (MSI). The combination of the advanced SCiLS software tools with Bruker's high-resolution MALDI-MSI imaging systems allows a deeper understanding of the spatial distribution of various molecules ranging from “Biomarker”- discovery to translational research in histopathology and other future diagnostic applications.
GSK Stockmann advised the owners of SCiLS on all legal aspects regarding the sale of their shares.
