GSV Materieludlejning becomes a market leader with the acquisition of Bramsnæs Entreprenørmaskiner

GSV Materieludlejning, one of the oldest rental companies of light and heavy equipment with and without drivers owned by CataCap, today announced the acquisition of Bramsnæs Entreprenørmaskiner, a leading rental company of heavy equipment.

Post acquisition GSV Materieludlejning will be able to offer the costumers a One-stop-shop with the widest portfolio of heavy equipment with and without operator. With the acquisition of Bramsnæs Entreprenørmaskiner, GSV has intensified the focus on manned heavy equipment in order to respond to customer demand.

The previous owner of Bramsnæs Entreprenørmaskiner, Jesper Jensen, will enter GSV’s management group and become a shareholder in GSV Materieludlejning. He will also lead the area of manned heavy equipment.

CataCap is a Danish private equity fund that invests in Danish SMEs that hold a significant development potential and have an innovative business model with long-term sustainability.

GSV Materieludlejning is owned by the Danish private equity fund CataCap along with a group of leading employees. GSV was founded in 1964 and is one of the oldest rental equipment companies in Denmark. The company focusses on light and heavy equipment with and without drivers used in construction and civil engineering projects. GSV Materieludlejning is based in Hedehusene and employs 250 people.

Bramsnæs Entreprenørmaskiner ApS, founded by Jesper Jensen in 2006, focusses on heavy equipment with operator. The company is based in Kirke Hyllinge and employs around 100 people with a turnover of around DKK 125 million.

The deal is subject to Danish merger control approval.
