Hill Dickinson acts for Praetura/Praetura Digital Group on investment in We Influence

Partner Matt Noon and associate Elan Iorwerth from Hill Dickinson’s Liverpool corporate team recently acted for longstanding client, Praetura, in relation to an investment into the Ellesmere Port based digital marketing agency, We Influence.

We Influence has both B2B and B2C clients across a range of sectors and office sectors including search engine optimisation, paper clip marketing, content and influence marketing, page social advertising, affiliate marketing and conversion rate optimisation. It is a well-known and growing name in the sector and Praetura’s investment is aimed at enabling the founder and managing director of We Influence, Graham Withe, to further invest in the business, staff and infrastructure as well as growing its existing service offering.

Leading the transaction for Praetura was partner Ben Hatton, who has significant agency side experience having sold Rippleffect to Trinity Mirror in a deal worth £5.8m in 2008 (which Matt also advised on). Commenting on the deal, Ben said: 'The Hill Dickinson team of Matt and Elan were a vital part of the transaction - as well as leading and co-ordinating the legal process, they were responsible for a lot of the project management and general structuring of the transaction. They did a great job as ever.'
