The Warsaw office of Hogan Lovells advised the Gdansk Shipyard Group sp. z o.o. on the sale of 81.05% of the shares in Stocznia Gdanska S.A. (the Gdansk Shipyard), and 50% of the shares in GSG Towers Sp. z o.o. to Agencja Rozwoju Przemyslu S.A. (the Industrial Development Agency).
As of July 19, 2018, Stocznia Gdanska S.A. (the Gdansk Shipyard) and GSG Towers Sp. z o.o. (a manufacturer of wind turbine towers) are now fully owned by companies from the Industrial Development Agency Group.
On 11 June 2018, the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection agreed to the concentration through the acquisition by SPV Operator sp. z o.o. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Industrial Development Agency) of the shares in GSG Towers Sp. z o.o..
